Salah satu mahasiswanya Reza Satria berhasil mengantarkan klub sepak bola asal Kabupaten Karo, Sumatra Utara (Karo United) lolos ke Liga 2 Nasional. Karo United akan bergabung dengan tim asal Sumatra lainnya seperti Persiraja, PSMS dan Sriwijaya FC.
Karo United yang dijuluki laskar “Simbisa” menghadapi baru-baru ini menghadapi Persikab Bandung. Putra Agung yang masuk dalam skuat inti berhasil membobol dua gol ke gawang lawannya di babak pertama pertandingan.
Reza berharap dukungan penuh dari civitas Akademik STOK BINA GUNA dalam menapaki kariernya di dunia sepak bola profesional Tanah Air.
