Para Dosen Sekolah Tinggi Olahraga & Kesehatan BINA GUNA dari Prodi PJKR dan IKOR melaksanakan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi dalam Poin Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat di Desa, Buluh Duri, Sipispis, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai pada kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada Tanggal 10-11 September 2021.

Dalam kegiatan PKM ini Para Dosen mempunyai 2 kegiatan yaitu pertama Pendampingan Materi Kesiapan Fisik Sebelum Melakukan Aktivitas Arung Jeram dan kedua Sosialisasi Sport Massage Untuk Pelaku Usaha Pariwisata, kegiatan ini juga menggandeng mitra dengan KONI Serdang Bedagai.

Kegiatan Pendampingan Materi Kesiapan Fisik Sebelum Melakukan Aktivitas Arung Jeram di Narasumberi oleh Bapak Filli Azandi. M.Or sedangkan Sosialisasi Sport Massage Untuk Pelaku Usaha Pariwisatadi Narasumberi Oleh Bapak Mawardinur. M.Or.

Dalam materi PKM Pendampingan Materi Kesiapan Fisik Sebelum Melakukan Aktivitas Arung Jeram ini narasumber mengatakan ada beberapa hal yang perlu diperhatikan sebelum kegiatan arung jeram Untuk menghindari resiko dalam melakukan kegiatan arung jeram, ada beberapa hal yang perlu diperhatikan baik itu bagi pemula, seseorang yang tidak bisa berenang, ataupun pengunjung wisata arung jeram yaitu :

  1. Kondisi tubuh/fisik,
  2. Perlengkapan keselamatan rafting dan pakaian,
  3. Opertor/Guide,
  4. Posisi duduk saat mendayung dan saat terjatuh.

Kegiatan apapun yang dilakukan baik darat maupun air serta udara, tetap utamakan keselamatan dan selalu perhatikan alat penunjang keselamatanmu. Karena semua hal mengandung resiko, entah itu besar ataupun kecil alangkah lebih baik untuk menghindarinya.

Sedangkan dalam materi Sosialisasi Sport Massage Untuk Pelaku Usaha Pariwisata ini narasumber bertujuan untuk merelaksasi kembali otot-otot yang digunakan saat melakukan arung jeram sehingga menghindari terjadinya cidera dan juga keletihan dengan berlebihan.
