Pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) merupakan sebagai dasar peletak pembangunan generasi muda yang nantinya diharapkan mampu membawa kemajuan suatu bangsa. Oleh karena itu, di berbagai negara maju pendidikan PAUD menjadi salah satu program prioritas dalam pembangunan fundamental karakter anak.

Tumbuh kembang anak ditentukan pada usia dini, terutama saat usia emas 0-4 tahun. Karenanya, pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) dinilai sangat penting. Pendidikan usia dini juga menjadi investasi paling fundamental. Hal ini yang memastikan kualitas hidup keluarga lebih baik di masa mendatang. Masa depan bangsa juga menjadi terjamin.

“Kegiatan pembinaan termasuk beragam pelatihan kepada puluhan pendidik. Pelatihan sendiri, menghadirkan narasumber yang kredibel,” kata Kabid PAUD dan DIKMAS Bapak Bambang Lestarika Budimansyah, ST., MAP sekaligus membuka acara ini.

bertindak sebagai narasumber adalah tim IAM Binaguna yang menjelaskan tentang “aktifitas gerak Motorik pada anak untuk Guru PAUD se-Kota Binjai”. IAM binaguna dibawah payung Sekolah Tinggi Olahraga dan Kesehatan Bina Guna dengan anggota team Ahmad Al Munawar S.Pd, M.Pd, Devi Catur Winata S.Pd,M.Pd, Andi Nur Abady S.Pd, M.Pd, Filli Azandy S.Pd, M.Or,  Mawardinur S.Pd, M.Or

Keterampilan motoric kasar anak mengacu pada keterampilan fisik yang diperlukan untuk melakukan pergerakan sepertibotot kepala, leher, lengan, dan kaki melalui Gerakan yang terkoordinasu dan terkontrol

 Motorik halus dapat dikatakan sebagai keterampilan fisik yang diperlukan untuk membuat gerakan kecil yaitu otot-otot kecil, khususnya tangan dan jari-jari mereka. Keterampilan motorik halus mulai berkembang dimulai pada saat anak lahir. Ketika anak menggenggam secara refleks, selanjutnya beberapa bulan kemudian saat anak memasukkan jari kedalam mulut

Sementara itu, ibu ketua STOK Binaguna Medan ibu dr.Hj.Liliana Puspa Sari, S.Pd., M.Kes menyampaikan kegiatan ini sejalan dengan regulasi nasional yang terfokus pada PAUD dan prosesnya berjenjang. Menurutnya dalam mengetahui tumbuh kembang anak dibutuhkan sebuah penilaian yang komprehensif mulai dari deskripsi diri sampai perubahan perilaku agar nantinya bakat dan potensi anak dapat diarahkan sesuai dengan kompetensinya

Guru-guru PAUD juga mengharapkan kegiatan ini akan bisa berlangsung secara berkesinambungan.
