STOK Bina Guna dipercaya menjadi salah satu dari lima perguruan tinggi untuk mengelar Afirmasi Pendidikan Tinggi (ADik). Kepercayaan ini ditandai dengan penandatanganan Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) antara STOK Bina Guna bersama Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumut Bapak Prof Syaifuddin MA, PhD. Afirmasi ini fokus pada siswa yang ADIK DISABILITAS, ADIK 3 T (daerah terdepan, terluar dan tertinggal), ADIK TKI, ADIK PAPUA dan PAPUA BARAT.
