MAHASISWA Sekolah Tinggi Olahraga dan Kesehatan (STOK) Bina Guna yang tergabung dalam kontingen Bapomi Sumut mendominasi perolehan medali pada Pekan Olahraga Mahasiswa Nasional (POMNas) 2022 di Padang, Sumatera Barat.
Di POMNas 2022, kontingen Bapomi Sumut raih 8 emas, 9 perak dan 13 perunggu, dengan total 30 medali. Dari 30 perbendaharaan kontingen Bapomi Sumut tersebut, mahasiswa STOK Bina Guna sumbang 12 medali. Yakni, 3 emas, 2 perak dan 7 perunggu.
Medali emas dipersembahkan dari cabor atletik, Daniel Simanjuntak nomor 5.000 m dan 10.000 m putra. M Khairuddin Syahputra nomor lari cepat 110 m gawang putra.
Dua medali perak dipersembahkan mahasiswi Rustika Sibagariang dari atletik nomor lempar lembing putri dan dari cabor petanque nomor triple man, M Arif Tambunan/Faid Aqdas Tamimi/M Khairul Rianto.
Sedangkan 7 medali perunggu, cabor atletik, Epi Riani persembahkan dari nomor lompat jauh putri dan Ridho Saragih nomor 4 x 100 m putra. Pencak silat dari nomor tanding kelas E putri, Ardianti Riski Putri.
Petanque sumbangsih atas 2 perunggu dari nomor double putra, Faid Aqdas Tamimi/M Khairul Rianto dan double mix, Nur Akma Aisyah/Dimas Arif Hidayat.
Cabor taekwondo juga turut menyumbangkan 2 medali perunggu. Yakni melalui Anggie Audina Putri Julihadi kelas U-53 kg putri dan Ribka Herawati Br Manullang kelas U-62 kg putri.

Berprestasi di POMNas, Siapkan Diri PON 2024
Ketua STOK Bina Guna dr Hj Liliana Puspa Sari SPd MKes mengapresiasi raihan mahasiswa tersebut. Di POMNas 2022 ini, ada 32 mahasiswa STOK Bina Guna. Dengan rincian, 6 atletik, 6 pencak silat, 5 taekwondo, 5 petanque dan 10 atlet di cabor futsal.
“Alhamdulillah, mahasiswa STOK Bina Guna meraih medali terbanyak bagi kontingen Bapomi Sumut. Tentu ini sebuah penghargaan badan prestasi bagi kami. Terimakasih atas perjuangan semua atlet,” ujar wanita yang akrab disapa Lili itu, Selasa (29/11/2022).
Didampingi Pembina Atletik STOK Bina Guna, Hardodi Sihombing S.Pd, M.Pd, Lili berharap, pencapaian di POMNas 2022 ini tidak berpuas diri. Katanya, masih banyak ajang yang lebih tinggi dan mendorong mahasiswa untuk bersiap menghadapi PON 2024.
“Kami mendorong para mahasiswa tidak cepat puas dengan pencapaian di POMNas ini. Terus berlatih dan perbaiki kekurangan untuk bersaing, berkompetisi di ajang yang lebih tinggi. Apalagi PON 2024 Sumut tuan rumah bersama Aceh,” pungkas Lili.***
