Kabar membanggakan datang dari Club Petanque dan UKM Petanque STOK Bina Guna pada KEJUARAAN PETANQUE PIALA CLUB PORA PORA DISPORA SUMUT pada tanggal 5 Maret 2022 di Lapangan CLub Pora-pora Jl. Williem Iskandar No.9 Medan. Pada kejuaraan ini UKM Petanque di latih oleh Bapak Boby Helmi, S.Pd., M.Pd dan Club Petanque Bina Guna dilatih oleh Bapak Edward Keliat.

Menurut pengakuan Bapak Boby, tidak ada waktu khusus untuk berlatih. Hal itu karena memang ia berlatih setiap minggu, baik ada lomba maupun tidak. Ia juga selalu optimis dapat memenangkan kejuaraan tersebut, bahkan sebelum turun dan bertanding. “Karena saya yakin bahwa tak ada usaha yang mengkhianati hasil,” tegasnya.

Kemudian tutur Bapak Edward, Semoga kejuaraan ini menular kemahasiswa lain dan mempu membanggakan kampus STOK Bina Guna Medan.
